Ace Dagaroo and Zaltag Zoog Maquettes

This is a sculptures of my characters Ace and Zaltag. This pieces was done in super sculpey I made a amateur wire for the skeleton first to set up a pose for the model then I put the clay on it and sculpt it out. once it is done I baked it paint it and put a glaze on it.

Unlike the Ace model, the Zaltag model has a fur texture.
Theses sculpture I made are special tool I'll use for model sheets and drawings.

Zaltag Fur Render Experiment

I've been working on the fur renders on my model for some practices before I fully complete it.

Grooming the fur is a bit more tricky to do then I thought manly caues of having to set the right amount on the fur count and getting the color tone right and the thickness of the fur.

I did this on one side of the model so when I render it it would take so long to load. I'm going to have to do the fur over again.
