I really need to update this blog more now that I've syrated the KimJ Imagery Toons cartoons I may use this blog for any concept art I do for a cartoon.

Another Bday gift to Dr. Seuss one of many artist who influence me.

I love his work, It’s a shame I didn’t get to meet him.

This year with the Lorax out now I did two version of him one is from the book and the other is from the film.

So Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss.

Exclusive Featurette of Ed Helms in 'The Lorax'

I can't Waite for this movie, true I'm abit skeptic of this film to be honest one of the resaons I was spoock about this film was the fact that we see Once-Ler but after I saw some clips I want to see how this film will turn out.

I have to admit I like the character design of The Once-ler and He's already getting fans on Deviantart.

Happy Chinese New Year

It's the year of Dragon and I want to wish every a happy new year.
I went down to an Oriental supermarket and they have quit a celebration. Music dancing and performances. I eve pick up a dragon statue.

If any one hasn’t seen this yet it was a video of me inking a Chinese Dragon, I had plan to post it today but I posted it two days ago cause I was busy work on a sculpture of a dragon. This video was going to have oriental music but of course Youtube and their copyright so I couldn’t put one on here.

Happy 2012

Sorry for not updateing here I just have a busy days with my cartoon projects geting some ready for youtube and working on some comics.

But any way happy newyear and many hope tht this will be the year thing turn around for me :)

KimJ Imagery Toons Animatic: What not to do around a Dragon

Ghast Movie Poster 1 and 2

This is a prototype poster for my female monster character Ghast.

If She ever gets a movie this poster would be remade in CG. Yes the poster is scary, the them of the movie is animation family horror film much like Monster House.

The picture is done in Artrage and then taken over to Flash, it doesn’t have much in choices of text so just have to make do with what I got at my disposal. You know those movie motion posters that change when you move it will that’s what this was going to be.

That’s why there’s two posters here. It starts with her just staring at you be when you move you see her mouth opening up reveling her the with venom ready to bit you and give you nightmares so she can feed on it.

And buy the way the Ghast website is fake it’s just an add on like all the other movie posters you see today and yes if this film ever gets made it will be released on Halloween.

Zoog berry cookies

This is my first attempt at pulling of a vector image in Manga Studios, and I have to say this looks ok.

Now Zoog berries are a Zoog favorite treat and Zaltag is a Zoog, Zoog berrise is like Cranberries and Blueberries it red and blue. The zoog use this berries in mostly all the recipe, their most popular ones being Zoog Berry pancake and Zoog berry cookies.

I’m actually experimenting with making the cookies in real life.
