Walk like a Jaguar Idea Boards

These random notes are ideas for my "What If" story about Tad, who gets a curse placed on him and must undergo a trial to remove it. In this part of the story, Ramona teaches Tad how to walk on all fours, but unfortunately, he struggles with it. This scene is part of the "Jaguar Tad" narrative.

My thoughts Project

I completed this project in Inkscape to familiarize myself with the software's layout.

First, I created the text based on my thoughts about the art community, specifically focusing on storyboarding.

Once I had the text ready, I needed an image to complement it, so I opened Clip Studio Paint and created a drawing of myself working on a storyboard. Although I initially considered using color, I ultimately decided to go with a monochrome style.

After preparing both the image and the text, I opened Inkscape and began assembling everything together. The learning curve for this software can be a bit tricky, but it becomes easier to understand with practice, and I found that watching tutorials helped me through areas where I got stuck. Once I was satisfied with the layout, I ended up with the final result.

Tad and the Jaguar Trial - Storybook mockup

I tried the story book route with this "what if story" of Tad becoming a jaguar,  this format was inspired by the Tad story book “Tadeo Jones 3. El libro de la pelĂcula: La tabla esmeralda”.  all the images are done in Clip Studio paint then I transfer it over to Inkscape in order to set up the font and put everything together.

5 panel board challenge

This was an exercise from a storyboard Discord. We had a choice of making a five-panel storyboard from a single photo to tell a story. I chose the kangaroo boxing.
