So far I got nine pages done and I’m still working on the rest and this is a fun fan project for me to work on, plus it helps me get use to drawing human characters.

More Work with Artrage

When I got the artrage last year I been working on it for my digital work. The more I worked on it the more I dicover new things on it.
For instents when I shade a artwork on this useing the color burn but then when I was work on "Zoogville: Through the Thorns" pic I came across linear burn while I was adding the shading, And I love it. So I endded up useing the linear burn on these other digital works.

Slasher Bat: Busting through glass

It's been a while since I draw my bat Slasher.
So I got back to drawing him, in this pic he's busting through a glass window.

I needed him to do something action like and this came to mind, Slasher is the type who would do this depending on what situation he is in.

Comic strip: Zoogtag

Zaltag falls victim to Zoogtag.Zoog tag is just like how we play tag, The different with Zoog's is there version of tag is a lot more physical, in order for a Zoog to tag another Zoog is to pounce on them.
The character that tag Zaltag is named Mark he a Zoog as well. I'm going to be re doing this strip latter on.

Relic Run: PrismaColor Markers experiment

This one was an shading experiment with PrismaColor Markers and it turned out pretty well.
I chose to use this technique on my monster character Relic cause he has such a neat color of grey and black and I wanted to see how I can handle shading with those colors.

Zoog Houes Concept art

This is a design concept for Zaltags house.

A Zoog house is not like our, form this drawing you can see that Zoogs house are made up of trees, stone, grass and dirt. It's actually looks like a big hill with trees and roots growing out of it.

There environment is made up of earth elements so many house and building look like this one but in different shape and size.

Zoogville: Through the Thorns

As part of his leadership training with the elders, Zaltag has to learn how to use his surrounding to his advantage. So here we see Zaltag learning how to use the thorns to get away from danger.

His first try wasn’t all that good, The elders are timing him on his speed on this and he’s getting stuck on a few thorn branches and coming to dead ends.

Hopefully he’ll get the hang of it time.

Aw man this took me a long time to do.The drawing took the longest because of the detail I wanted it.
Then I inked it put it in the scanner to clean it up on the computer and then colored this thing in Artrage.
I took a different approach to how I shaded this; instead of using the color burn tool that I always use on my digital works, I used the linear burn which gives this a better shading effect from the scene.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

It's Theodore Geisel(aka) Dr. Seuss B-Day who would have been 105 today, and googles has a logo of some of his characters on it in honor of this great artist.

Dr. Seuss was one of the best author for children's books. Happy birthday.

And here's some Seuss art of my own I did.
